Limitless Brewing of Lenexa to build a new facility on 95th Street, with patio and taproom
Limitless Brewing, Lenexa’s first brewery, plans to build a brand new operation along 95th Street, minutes from their current location.
A new 7,000 square foot facility will be built on an open space at the southwest corner of West 95th Street and Dice Lane.
“We’re very grateful because without our clients we wouldn’t be doing all of this,” said Emily Mobley, one of the co-owners. “For us, we are delighted to have the extra space and the outdoor space. It really is a better place for our clients to come and be a part of the community they have helped us build. “
Mobley said the new 7,000 square foot building will house everything from production to a large back patio with a bathroom.
Mobley and her co-owners, her husband Dave Mobley, Dave’s brother Steve Mobley and Darin Worthington, first opened the microbrewery and taphouse at 9765 Widmer Road in November 2018.
Like just about every small business in the region, Limitless Brewing has been negatively affected by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
However, business has certainly picked up this year, with the brewery seeing “huge growth” in both distribution and inside sales, with residents slowly venturing past home orders, quarantines and avoiding the big guys. groups.
Meanwhile, Limitless Brewing will continue to offer beer take-out orders.
“People are coming out more and looking for locals, which is great,” Mobley said.
The Mobleys say Limitless Brewing began the process of finding a new location in July 2020.
Regarding the next steps, the brewery engages with the engineers and the city of Lenexa.
They hope to innovate later this summer or maybe by September, and then open the new location by summer 2022.
“We just appreciate all the local support we’ve received,” Mobley said, “and I think our biggest problem is that we’re not unlimited, we’re nothing without the local support.”
